ILUNION Hotels prepares to host the Goya Awards

Malaga is finalizing preparations to host 34th edition of the Goya Awards for the first time, the most important annual event of Spanish cinema. The four-star establishments of the ILUNION Hotels chain in Malaga are also prepared to receive the many visitors who will visit the city and its surroundings before the Goya and during the awards ceremony.
çAs usual, prominent and illustrious figures of Spanish cinema will meet to celebrate one of the main cultural events of the year. It will be the third time in the history of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards has moved from Madrid to another Spanish city. In 2000 they were held in Barcelona and previously in Seville.
The famous red carpet that will lead Spanish movie stars to the gala will be laid out on January 25 at the José María Martín Carpena Sports Palace in Malaga. Antonio Banderas, an illustrious son of the city and an important promoter of film in Malaga at an international level, is one of the nominees in this edition and a great favourite, according to the bookies, to take the best actor award for his interpretation in the movie 'Pain and Glory ', a film directed by renowned Manchego filmmaker, Pedro Almodóvar.
